Every couple dreams of transforming a space to make it their own for their wedding but Eve and Chris have truly set the bar.
With Melanie from Bellissimo Weddings leading the way, the Lake Suite at Chewton Glen was reimagined into a full theatrical experience, filled with floral pops of colour and layered lighting arrays that completely changed the atmosphere of the venue for each individual part of the day’s journey.
We were brought in to provide full-scale audio, lighting, and special effects across the entire day from the ceremony right through to the wedding breakfast, party and fireworks.
The day began outside with a beautiful ceremony setup, where we installed audio for vows and readings, setting the tone for what was to come. Once guests moved inside to the Lake Suite, they were met with a space that felt more like a West End theatre than a traditional wedding venue. The entire room was draped to block out natural light, allowing our team to create a full theatrical lighting setup. With an intricate rig featuring a wide range of fixtures, we had the tools to build immersive lighting states tailored to each moment.
And there were many moments.
During the wedding breakfast, guests were treated to a surprise West End Lion King performance after starters, followed by a high-energy Riverdance routine just before dessert. Our team delivered lighting design, audio, low fog, and haze to enhance every beat of the performance creating an unforgettable experience that felt like a true stage show.
Later in the evening, The Function Band took to the dancefloor. From Disney classics to floor-filling hits, they kept the energy high right through to the end.
Outside, we extended the atmosphere ending the night with a Coldplay-themed fireworks display, synced perfectly to music via our dedicated outdoor sound system.
This was more than a wedding, it was a showstopper from start to finish.
