A Magical Wedding in the New Forest
Despite the rain, nothing could dampen the love and joy at this stunning wedding in the heart of the New Forest. Set in a private residence, the couple celebrated under the protection of beautifully designed canopies and marquees scattered across the grounds. We had the honour of providing audio and lighting throughout the day, creating a magical atmosphere that seamlessly flowed from the ceremony to the reception and into the night.
Ceremony Audio Under the Canopy
The day began with an outdoor ceremony, held under a large, protective canopy amidst the New Forest’s natural beauty. The rain may have been falling, but our PA system ensured that every vow, reading, and moment was heard with crystal clarity by the guests seated beneath the cover. The delicate sound amplified the heartfelt words while maintaining an intimate and natural feel.
Audio for a Cello Performance
As the ceremony concluded, guests moved to the drinks reception marquee, where they were greeted by the elegant sounds of a cello player. We provided a discrete PA system that complemented the acoustic performance, allowing the music to gracefully fill the tent without overpowering the social chatter. This gentle background music added an air of sophistication to the afternoon.
Dining Space: Ambient Lighting and Audio
For the dining marquee, we enhanced the space with a combination of targeted audio and beautiful lighting to create a cozy and festive ambiance. Pinspot lighting was used to highlight key features on the tables, while leafy gobo patterns cast an enchanting design across the ceiling and walls, perfectly complementing the natural surroundings of the venue. The lighting added warmth and depth, drawing attention to the beautifully decorated tables while maintaining an elegant, refined atmosphere.
A Show-Stopping Dance floor
The dance floor was a true highlight of the evening. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant nature around, we designed an incredible setup with Melissa Rose Design that featured hanging disco balls, cascading florals in shades of pink, purple, and orange, and vibrant lighting elements that brought the space to life. Our PA system and DJ setup kept the music coming, while the mirror balls reflected the dynamic lighting design, creating an immersive dance experience. The mix of warm, colourful lighting and floral decor created an unforgettable party atmosphere that perfectly captured the spirit of the celebration.
Despite the rainy weather, the event was a true success, and we were thrilled to be part of this special day. From the ceremony to the last dance, every detail came together to create an unforgettable wedding.
