Lighting provides the atmospheric, emotive element Lighting provides the atmospheric, emotive element to any event design. Your floral arrangements, stationary pieces and linen provide the colour scheme and theme for your event. Whereas lighting provides an emotive feature for setting the atmosphere of your event as well as tying in with your decorative pieces. lower lighting levels evoke more intimate, cozy and relaxing atmospheres whereas higher lighting levels promote energy, vibrancy, productivity and movement. Picture this, you’re hosting an evening dinner during the autumnal season, you have floral arrangement centre pieces, signage elements and architectural focal points, the weather outside is a crisp clear day but the light levels are low. Your venue has practical lighting but the overall level is too high, too bright or too focused. The room doesn’t feel moody or the tone isn’t what your looking to achieve. This is where practical combined with decorative lighting comes in. What is your brand recognisable for besides your p What is your brand recognisable for besides your products/services? That would be your brand story, name, logo, colour, slogan and typography! All of this builds the basis for how you can personalise your event using lighting, visuals and projections. Brand Story: People invest in brands because their views and ideologies resonate with those of the brand. People invest in your brand story because it means something to them. Incorporating your story into your event branding reinforces your brand image in real time. Therefore, using av production techniques you can transform your event venue by including elements of your brand story. Logo: Your brand logo is a part of your brand identify and therefore should be incorporated into your event, of course your logo will be on your signage and stationary elements but have you ever thought of using light to project your logo onto the surfaces of your venue? If you have an animated logo you could also present this on a large screen display adding an immersive element to the design. Colour: Wash your venue in your brand colours utilising multiple fixture types and techniques to achieve an overall atmosphere whilst solidifying brand image with colour. Fixtures such as uplighters, washes, movers, gobos, festoon etc are all perfect for this. Slogan: Incorporating your brand slogan into the design adds an additional personal touch to your event, use projectors or gobos to present your slogan on your venue surfaces. ✨💡 LIGHTING 💡✨ Adding lighting to the p ✨💡 LIGHTING 💡✨ Adding lighting to the planning process of your event is a cost effective, impactful way to transform any venue into a totally unique space. It’s relatively simple, lighting allows you to maximise your space by utilising those surfaces physical decor pieces can’t necessarily reach. For example, the ceilings, walls and floors of a venue are rarely ever utilised by other forms of decoration because they are sometimes difficult to access. Lighting however takes up no physical space in the place it presents, the lighting fixtures can be positioned elsewhere as long as they have direct sight of the desired location. Our lighting fixtures are also equipped with a variety of colours, shapes and intensities meaning throughout the event you could theoretically redecorate the entire venues surfaces in as little as a few clicks with whole new colour schemes and designs.
